How To Avoid Party Fouls and Have An Amazing Pedal Pub Experience

Pedal Pub tours are a super fun time, until they’re not.  Here are some steps to take that make sure you have the best experience possible on your beer bike tour!#1 – R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Respect comes in many forms and goes a long way towards ensuring that everything goes smoothly.  Respect the driver and other guests by obeying the rules of the road and of each establishment visited.  Be on time, dressed in the appropriate footwear to pedal a bike. Don’t arrive drunk and don’t forget your ID.  Please don’t piss off the “neighbors” with offensive music or by throwing things from the bike. If we all respect each other, we will all have a good time.

#2 – Always Be Pedaling (aka ABP)

The Barcycle is a human-powered machine.  You don’t have to be super fit or train in advance, but if you don’t pedal, the barcycle won’t move.  Remember, this is a team event, and you are only as strong as your weakest link.

#3 – No Glass Bottles

Our tours are BYOB friendly, but glass is strictly prohibited.  Glass can break, cut, or injure guests, and it can also result in a flat tire.  Huge bummer for everyone!  Please, please, please don’t bring any glass bottles on your tour.

#4 – Stay Hydrated

Pedaling the Barcycle on a warm day requires some energy. Make sure to drink some water to stay hydrated, keep your energy up, and your eyes open.  Don’t be that guy/girl who gets get drunk, sick, or pukes. That’s no fun for anyone.

#5 – Don’t Drink and Drive

This should be a no-brainer but it’s worth emphasizing.  Don’t ever get behind the wheel after your tour if you’ve had too much to drink. Always be smart, be safe, and look out for each other.

Join your friendly neighborhood bar on wheels for a fun and safe barcycle pedal pub tour of the Soulard district.  Cheers!
